Summer Adventure Day 3

Sarah and I woke up in our little hotel room in Fredericton New Brunswick, still stuffed from our meal the night before. We headed out early, our destination, Moncton New Brunswick. The drive was breath taking, Fluffy white clouds scattered over a perfectly blue summer sky.

the drive to moncton was only about 3 hours so we settled into a little family campground (the stonehurst). Our tent set up took alot less time then we had anticipated...impressive. So set up went fast, what to do next? you guessed it, head into the "down town" of Moncton. Now keep in mind we are both Toronto city kids so this was an interesting version of down town. I am pretty sure their downtown strip is half the size of the west end suburb Street I live on. Nothing was really open, apparently between 12-2 everyone takes a nap. there was one restaurant open called "Graffiti Restaurant" so we grabbed some grub there :)

We had to start little cubes of feta fried to perfection, drizzled with honey and served with a little side salad. A wonderful concept but could have been done better with higher quality ingredients and  A tomato mozza salad that was a little bit less then impressive looking...was OK tasting. For our mains we had fish and chips which was standard and yummy and curry cream muscles that were wonderful...all in all Graffiti has their mains down, but needs some work on their apps. The service was pleasant, and cost was not terrible $48.00 CAN for two for lunch and a pitcher of Sangria...not bad.

we ate ourselves sick (a reoccurring theme on this trip) and it was still only 6pm. So we decided to take a drive down to the bay of Fundy. the drive was absolutely beautiful and very...east coast. I learned that the highest tides in the world occur there, how amazing is that?? After walking around and talking to some of the locals and getting some ideas for the next few days we headed back to camp before it got too dark. Camp fire going and dinner consisted of hot dogs, corn on the cob and roasted marsh mellows. In bed by 10:30pm.
