A Farmers Market in Spain

In San Javier (the city that we are staying in) there is a farmers market every day in a different location. Wednesdays is our lucky day, with the market location being less then a 5 min walk away from our little home. We were super excited not knowing what to expect...I was half expecting 2 tables of fruits and veggies...boy was I wrong! The market stretched for an entire street, it probably took us about an hour to walk down the whole thing! Pretty much anything you could ever want can be found at this market, from cow print slippers, to 40 different kinds of olives and EVERYTHING in between!  We picked up strawberries and artichokes, green tomatoes and dark green olives, and much much more. We came home with 3 grocery bags full plus laundry soap and toilet paper and only spent about 25 Canadian dollars.Walking up this busy street while the vendors shout their sales and try to pull you into their booth makes quite for the authentic and perfect morning! Quite the wonderful experience and honestly I am excited for next Wednesday!
